EXTRA INCOME AND REPORTER SHORTAGE SOLUTIONS

This hour-long presentation will focus on opportunities reporters can add to help minimize the court reporter shortage, as well as supplement income.  We will discuss the basics of audio transcription, how to find transcription work, formatting of the transcript, and invoicing your work.  We will also discuss remote depositions for officials, how to take control and manage a remote deposition, platform demonstrations, what to expect, and troubleshooting on witness connections.  Finally, we will discuss what to expect when providing remote coverage for rural and specialty courts.
